Prof. Carlos Closa has been invited to the Scuola to discuss the legal and political implications of secessions within  Member States and Member States’ withdrawal from the European Union. 

Prof. Carlos Closa (EUI, Fiesole – CSIC, Madrid), together with Prof. Costanza Margiotta (Università di Padova), Leonardo Pierdomenici (Università di Bologna) and Prof. Giuseppe Martinico, will discuss the legal and political implications of secession from a Member State and withdrawal from the European Union.
The discussion will be chaired by Prof. Gianluigi Palombella.
