Dr. Bertolini gave a speech on “Robolaw: Liability, Insurance and Other Regulatory Challenges” at even hosted by MEP Mady Delvaux-Stehres.
On April the 9th, Dr. Bertolini was invited to “The Economy of Robots” workshop, hosted at the European Parliament by Mady Delvaux-Stehres (MEP), where he gave a speech on “RoboLaw: Liability, Insurance and Other Regulatory Challenges”.
Through the participation of leading international experts in technology, economy, business and law, the workshop aimed to elaborate about the state of play on the ‘Internet of robots & AI systems’ and on the scenario where high-level automation spreads through all domains of social life: cryptocurrencies become ‘the money for robots’, autonomous agents communicate with each other without any human intervention, and become economically autonomous and regulated by the market and legal rules.
