Congratulations to Camilla Signoretta, our 3rd year PhD in Competition Law and Intellectual Property, for her achievement. October 5^th, Camilla was awarded the first prize as the author of the Best Junior Paper (written by an early-career scholar under 35) at the Florence Conference on IP, Competition and Innovation, jointly organized by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and the Center for Digital Society at the European University Institute.

Her paper, already presented at EPIP 2024 Annual Conference and titled “Cracking the Walls of IPRs through Article 101: When Territorial Restrictions Become ‘Abusive’ under IP Law” explores the interface between anti-competitive agreements and misuse of IPRs at the intersection between IP and antitrust law from a European perspective.
