Sant’Anna Regulation Studies (SRS) is excited to announce the upcoming colloquium titled “The Historical Evolution of Administrative Law in Europe: A Conversation with Paul Craig and Giacinto della Cananea”. The event will take place on May 7th from 14:00 to 16:00, in Aula 2 (Palazzo via Maffi) and online via Webex.

The session will be chaired by Andrea Giorgi (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna) and will feature insightful presentations by esteemed speakers: Paul Craig (University of Oxford), Maria De Benedetto (Università Roma Tre), Giacinto della Cananea (Università Bocconi), Edoardo Chiti (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna), and Barbara Silvestro (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna).

The discussion will draw on two key volumes: “English Administrative Law from 1550. Continuity and Change” by Paul Craig (Oxford University Press, 2024) and “The Common Core of European Administrative Laws. Retrospective and Prospective” by Giacinto della Cananea (Brill, 2023).
