STEFANO ALBERTI

Stefano holds a degree in Law summa cum laude from the University of Pisa (2013) and a diploma summa cum laude from Sant’Anna (2014). His research deals with private law, in particular contract law and the law of obligations, insurance and tort law. His dissertation addresses precontractual liability and disclosure duties. Since Fall 2017 he is an attorney licensed to practice in Italy.

 
 

SOFIA MILONE

Sofia holds a degree in law summa cum laude from the University of Pisa (2013) and a diploma summa cum laude from Sant’Anna (2014). She pursued her studies in several European Universities, including the École Normale Supérieure, the University Paris II, Panthéon Assas, and Oxford University where she worked under the supervision of Professor Federico Varese.
She is mainly interested in Criminal Law and EU Criminal Law. Her PhD research focuses on the definition, prevention and repression of organised crime, and the use of confiscation to tackle it, within the boundaries set by the principles of rationality and proportionality.

 
 

ANTONIO PRINCIPATO

Antonio holds a master degree in law summa cum laude from the University of Pisa (2013), with a thesis on “Acting in concert in the Italian Takeovers Law”, and a diploma from Sant’Anna (2014). He underwent research in several European Universities, including the Ècole Normale Supérieure and Queen Mary University of London, where he worked under the supervision of Professor Alan Dignam.
He is mainly interested in Commercial and Company Law. His PhD research concerns shareholder activism, stewardship, role of institutional investors in corporate governance and regulation of the asset management industry. During his PhD he also focused on privacy law and tort law. He has been a Stagiaire at the Italian Competition Authority (2014) and since 2016 he is an attorney licensed to practice in Italy. Since 2017 he is an associate at the financial markets department at NCTM, Milan.
