SILVIA CLINCA

Silvia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pisa in 2014, with a master thesis on the criminal liability of the psychiatrist, completed under the supervision of Professor Tullio Padovani. In 2015 she earned an Advanced Diploma from Sant’Anna. Over the years, Silvia underwent research in numerous Universities, including the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, the London School of Economics (LSE) in Beijing and The City Law School in London.
Her area of interest ranges from medical liability to economic crime, both in a private and criminal law perspective. Her PhD research concerns the criminal aspects of clinical trials. Silvia is an attorney licensed to practice in Italy.

GIORGIO MOCAVINI

Giorgio Mocavini graduated in Law summa cum laude at the University of Pisa (2014), with a dissertation about State-owned enterprises, and earned an Advanced Diploma at Sant’Anna (2015) with a dissertation on local public services.
He underwent research periods aboard at the University of Buenos Aires, at École Normale Supérieure in Paris, and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg.
Giorgio research interests range from local public services, public enterprises and bodies, environmental damage compensations.

MÁRK NÉMEDI

Márk holds an undergraduate MA degree (dr. jur.) from the University of Szeged, in Hungary with a specialisation in European Law. Mark practiced for three years in various law firms, and took part in the blue-book stage of the European Commission before entering the Ph.D. program. Mark speaks English, German, Italian while his mother tongue is Hungarian. His research at Sant’Anna deals with relativisms concerning the purpose of criminal law as expressed in instrumental theories.

ALESSANDRO VARVARESSOS

Alessandro holds a degree in Law summa cum laude from the University of Pisa, and an advanced diploma from Sant’Anna. Alessandro completed an internship at the Ministry of Justice in particular assisting the Commission responsible for the reform of law 8.6.2001, n. 231 concerning the criminal liability of corporations. His research at Sant’Anna deals with models of non-punishment in economic criminal law, with a specific focus on bankruptcy and corporate law.
